Our concrete specialists break down everything you need to know about concrete pumping and how to calculate the volume of concrete your project will need.
What is a concrete pump?
A concrete pump is a machine used for transferring wet ready mix concrete or liquid screen to the lay site. The two types of concrete pump are boom pumps and boomless pumps.
Boom pumps use a robotic arm to accurately deliver ready mix concrete and screed. Their ability to pump large volumes of concrete quickly makes them a popular choice for large construction sites. Boomless pumps lack the robotic arm. Instead, they transfer concrete via pipes that are laid between the vehicle and the lay site. Our boomless minipump is designed to deliver liquid concrete over 100m vertically as well as 200m horizontally.
